JEAN BRONSON was born in 1935, in Fulham, London. Soon after the start of the war, in 1939, she was evacuated to Hertfordshire where her love of the countryside was born. Although Jean enjoyed drawing and painting as a child she didn't pursue this interest until aged 39 and living in West London. |

With her children growing up and spare time on her hands she commenced evening classes. After a few years learning her craft, Jean started exhibiting her work in local art shows with some success and this gave her the confidence to approach a gallery in West London. |
